Our Mohair is certified RMS - Responsible Mohair Standard. It is created by Textile Exchange to ensure full compliance of sustainable and ethical standards for animals and environment, as well as full traceability of the product. The spinning adheres to the Detox and Traceability project by Greenpeace.

This yarn demonstrates the attention and care Marigré is putting in their search for eco-friendly yarns. Recycling processes of previously used dyed cashmere fibers guarantees respect for the environment. This avoids further dyeing processes and allows a considerable waste reduction with a saving of natural resources (water and energy). The yarn is made from the merging of 'recycled cashmere fibers,' obtained from manufactoring selected scraps of fabric, with 'first processing' long cashmere fibers from the finest farms.Its extreme softness and fluffiness allow the creation of renowned garments. Attentive to the human, ecological aspects of carded yarns production, the spinning has joined GRS (Global Recycled Standard) which certifies the compliance and responsible, sustainable use of recycled fibers in the textile field.
